Back!

All right ladies and gentlemen, it sure has been a while. But I am back in business.

I have my new catalogues, new inserts, new order forms and new teas. I am ready to get things going again. I put my first order in, after nearly a whole year,  a couple of weeks ago.

Currently, I am sitting here, still leafing through the new catalogue and sipping on one of my new favourite teas. Jazzy Jasmine green tea is absolutely fantastic. I can't help but take a deep breath in through my nose before each and every sip because the fragrance is just incredible.

I am really looking forward to booking parties and getting back out there. I only have a few months until another small break though, since I am expecting my third child in June. But I will always be free to send orders in from home without any parties for a little while.

Since finding out about my third pregnancy, I have been very conscious of my food and drink intake of course. I have been trying to cut down on the caffeine, so zero coffee for me. Instead, I have replaced that with white or green tea in the morning and rooibos or chamomile in the evening. The variety never makes for a dull cuppa and I couldn't be happier.

Once my due date swings around, I will be sure to order some Raspberry Leaf tea, because as the old wives tale says, it is great for bringing on an easy labour when you feel like the baby is taking forever! :)

Anyway, it is wonderful to be back and I hope you have all been doing well. I will post the new catalogue on this site soon, but in the mean time, you are more than welcome to take a look through it directly from the site here: http://www.steeped.ca

HAPPY SIPPING! xoxo

Wellness Teas

The new wellness teas include: Masculini-Tea (for men), Feminini-tea (for women), Hot Yoga tea, Sinful Seduction, Flu Buster, Trigger Switch, Coconut Calypso white tea, Toffee Crunch Rooibos, Hawa-ya-doing green tea, London Fog Latte black tea.

My favourite is definitely the Coconut Calypso white tea. It leaves a faint aftertaste of fresh coconut after every sip.

Our customer special for the month of February is a FREE 50g bag of Creme Carmello Rooibos tea for orders over $50.

How To Make A Good Cup of Tea at Work

I get asked this often and my first suggestion is always, "Put the leaves directly into the cup and continue to add water as you go." But there are a lot of people out there who just don't want leaves in their drink, which is totally understandable.

The three easiest things to do are to use a Brew Mug, the Steeped Travel Mug or a small mesh ball infuser.
Brew-in-Mug comes in white or black

Of course at work, people would like to have the least amount of mess that they can manage and my best suggetion is the Brew Mug for that since it comes with a lid which can also double as your infuser holder. You don't have to worry about burning your fingers (if you're careful of course) and you won't leak anything onto your paper work either.

We also have our Steeped travel mug which is incredibly handy for those of you who spend a lot of time in the car travelling. It's made by Thermos and has our "Steeped" logo on it. No matter how hot the water is, the travel mug is always cool to the touch.

A small mesh ball infuser is my personal least favourite, but it does the job you are after in an efficient and mess free way. Since I like my tea fairly strong I tend to use the large mesh ball infuser (in a large 3 cup mug) so that I am able to throw in a few extra scoops of tea without the infuser exploding (yes, it will do that if you put too many tea leaves in since tea leaves expand in water). The most convenient ones for work are the ones that come with a small trinket on the end because it is quicker, easier and less mess than the ones without. You will also have to make sure you have something to rest your infuser on once it is done steeping -- a teabag holder, a small plate, an extra mug all do the job nicely.

Relaxation

Thanks to a very dear friend, my mind has opened further. Calista, you're an amazing person thank you so much for taking me to the Wisdom Tea Shop.

I want to share some new knowledge with those around me by hosting Relaxation Tea Tasting Parties. I will not be coming with my suitcase of tea accessories nor with loads of paper work. Just me, my tea & tea pots and a yoga mat.

We will focus only on relaxation and opening up our senses to truly enjoy the taste, aroma, warmth and health benefits of tea.

If you are interested in having me come into your home and share this experience, please contact me. Invite your friends and family, but make it as comfortable for YOU as you wish, even if it is just one-on-one.
